Kay Menzies Counselling

I am a non-judgemental, sensitive and compassionate therapist, with 20 years professional experience working across public, private and charitable sectors.

Person-centredness underpins my practice.  As my work with clients has evolved, my approach has become more integrative.  A particular area of expertise is helping clients manage difficulties in their working lives. Additionally, I have worked with students for many years.

I completed a post graduate diploma in counselling at the University of Edinburgh in 2011.

As I am also employed by the University of Edinburgh Staff Counselling Service, I am unable to work with employees of this organisation in my private practice.

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by their code of ethics.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change".

Carl Rogers
